Marketing and Event Coordinator

This role supports two wedding venues by driving digital engagement, increasing qualified tour bookings, and enhancing the overall customer experience. This part-time position blends marketing execution, event coordination, and guest communications to ensure consistent brand visibility and seamless client interactions.

What Success Looks Like

1. Drive Website Traffic & Lead Generation

  • Consistent lift in website visits through targeted digital marketing.

  • Increase in online inquiries and booked tours.

2. Execute Effective Digital Marketing & Advertising

  • Maintain strong performance across social ads, Google ads, email campaigns, and social media.

  • Improve cost-per-lead and conversion rates over time.

3. Maintain & Improve Website Experience

  • Keep venue websites updated with accurate information, images, blogs, and clear CTAs.

  • Improve user experience metrics (e.g., click-throughs, time on page).

4. Deliver Excellent Customer Communication

  • Timely, friendly, and helpful communication with leads and booked clients.

  • Ensure brand-aligned voice across email templates, social messages, and inquiry responses.

5. Support In-Person Tours & Event Coordination

  • Assist in hosting tours with confidence and professionalism.

  • Ensure clients feel cared for and informed from first contact through booking.

Responsibilities

Marketing & Digital Advertising

  • Create and schedule social media content for both venues.

  • Build and manage paid ad campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc.).

  • Monitor ad performance and recommend improvements.

  • Maintain an organized content calendar.

Website Management

  • Update venue websites regularly with new images, copy, and announcements.

  • Add blog articles, testimonials, and new marketing assets.

  • Optimize site pages for clarity, conversions, and improved user experience.

Customer Communication

  • Respond to inquiries via email, web forms, and social platforms.

  • Send follow-up information to potential clients.

  • Maintain a friendly, service-oriented tone that represents the venues well.

Event & Tour Support

  • Conduct or assist with venue tours as assigned.

  • Prepare tour materials or digital resources.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready venue environment during tours.

Administrative & Collaboration

  • Track marketing performance metrics and report results.

  • Coordinate with Venue Manager and ownership on priorities.

  • Help with occasional onsite event support, vendor communication, or project-based tasks.

Email Marketing & CRM Automation Responsibilities

  • Build and schedule email marketing campaigns for both venues.

  • Create and maintain automated workflows inside the CRM (inquiry follow-up, tour reminders, post-tour nurturing, review requests, etc.).

  • Monitor email performance metrics and optimize subject lines, content, and timing.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all emails and automations.

Expected Skills & Attributes

  • Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and digital.

  • Confident and friendly approach when hosting tours.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Meta Ads, Google Ads, CMS platforms).

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.

  • Creative eye for visuals, branding, and compelling content.
