About Us
Rosedale Park has been many things since it has been built. A church, a biker bar , and even a schoolhouse. This building held class for Grant Wood himself and his group of students around 1919. Having a building with this much history just adds to the charm.
The History
Our Team
Jen Howell
Owner and Client Relations ManagerJen is the owner behind Rosedale Park. Leading the team with creativity, passion, and a commitment to unforgettable events. With years of experience in the wedding and events industry, Jen has built Rosedale Park into a thriving, women-run business known for its attention to detail and exceptional client care.

When she’s not working, Jen is a hands-on mom to three busy girls, juggling school, activities, and all the chaos that comes with raising a spirited family—bringing the same energy and dedication to her home as she does to Rosedale Park.
Event ManagerErika Skelton
Erika is passionate about helping couples bring their wedding vision to life in a way that feels true to them. With 3 years of experience in the wedding and events industry—and having grown alongside the company from the ground up—she brings both creativity and confidence to every celebration. Erika loves guiding clients through the planning process, helping them feel supported, understood, and excited every step of the way. From the big-picture details to the finishing touches, her goal is always the same: making sure each wedding reflects what the couple wants and feels like them.
Outside of events, Erika loves reading, listening to pop punk, and watching a good show with her family. She’s also a mom of two and homeschools her oldest—so she knows a thing or two about staying organized, calm under pressure, and making magic happen in the middle of busy days.
The Owners
Jennifer and Quint Howell own Rosedale Park Event Center and Zest Catering Company, previously known as A Touch of Class Event Center and Catering. They purchased the company in 2018 and took over the property in the fall of 2021. They wanted the businesses to reflect the new and updated identity for the wedding and event venue and catering operation, so they transitioned them into two separate entities in 2022.
Having everything under one roof with options to customize your day makes planning a wedding or event much less stressful.
Jennifer and Quint began their careers in the food and beverage business. They raise three daughters together and live in Marion.
