Reminders & Venue Notes
Alcohol Policy-
No outside alcohol may be brought into the venue. If outside alcohol is found, the venue reserves the right to charge the CLIENT up to $1,000 in accordance with Iowa liquor laws. Coolers—whether containing alcohol or not—are not permitted in the venue including the getting ready lounges. If a party bus is used, coolers must be stored in the venue office until the end of the event or placed in a personal vehicle. Members of the bridal party may not bring open containers into the venue when exiting a party bus.
Park & Pavillion-
The venue only allows plastic drink ware outside in the park with the exception of glass beer bottles and cans. Alcohol options may be limited for the outdoor bar. We will not have both indoor and outdoor bars open simultaneously.
Changes due to inclement weather need to be decided by noon 48hrs prior to the date. Any changes made after are not guaranteed to be able to be able to be accommodated by the venue staff.
Venue Staff are the only ones permitted to drive the golf cart. If you are going to be in need of it for your guests, please note it on your form.
All animals must be leashed and the caregiver is responsible for cleaning any pet waste.
All children must be supervised while in the park by an adult.
Decor-
In House decor is not permitted for use out in the Park/Pavillion.
Glitter, confetti, orbeez, bubbles, party poppers, sparklers, live floral petals (to throw), and similar materials are not permitted inside the venue. If used indoors, the CLIENT will be charged an additional cleaning fee, as removal is not included in standard cleaning services.
Artificial floral is not permitted to throw outside in our park. You may attach decor to the gazebo, ceremony fence, and pavilion with only twist ties, pipe cleaners, or zip ties.
The CLIENT is responsible for removing any decor brought into the venue or brought out to the park.
The CLIENT is responsible for removing any excessive live florals at the end of the event, including floral installations on backdrops, loose greenery, table florals, and arrangements.
All candles must be fully enclosed within a glass vase. Taper candles must include both a wax-catching plate and a chimney sleeve.
Suites & Personal Belongings-
All belongings must be removed from the Park View Suite no later than 2:00 PM, as the doors will automatically lock at that time. Items may be relocated to the Lounge or placed in personal vehicles.
All personal belongings in the Lounge must be packed and placed on the seating area to allow staff to go through and clean the space.
The Lounge door will be locked after Grand Entrance. Access will only be permitted at the discretion of the onsite manager.
Venue Property & Damage-
The venue transitions to plastic drinkware after dinner. The CLIENT will be charged for excessive broken glassware or any damage to walls, furniture, doors, décor, or linens etc.
Tables, furniture, decor, and plants may not be moved without prior staff permission and supervision, as improper handling may result in floor or property damage.
Use of the wheelchair lift is only available with a manager present. Improper use of the lift may result in the lift being inoperable for the remainder of the weekend and a fine to the CLIENT to restore/reset it.
Any damages, missing items, or vandalism during the event is the responsibility of the CLIENT.
